Suzanne Wexler – Founder/Committee Member

Suzanne moved to Colorado in 2018.  While living in Chicago, Suzanne was an active member of a 100 Women Who Care group for many years.  She was excited to bring this giving circle to her local community.  Suzanne likes to think of herself as a “professional volunteer” and is proud of her work in Colorado as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Abused and Neglected Children (CASA) and a volunteer companion and driver for Aging Resources of Douglas County.  In the summer of 2020, Suzanne created a Sack Lunch program to help meet the needs of the local homeless and food-insecure population.  Headquartered out of her home in Parker, as of early 2023, Suzanne’s group has made and delivered over 32,000 lunches.  Before moving to Colorado, Suzanne was the director of a homeless shelter, among many other volunteer roles she played. Suzanne has 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren.
